Paul Haggis would then do well to also challenge the lies of Marty Rathbun (maybe better stated as sins of omission, and lack of personal responsibility).

After a while Haggis will be able to leave it all behind and join a book club, and a needlepoint group. He will be much happier. Bet this would make a great screenplay.
