Here are the 2 questions from the journalist (translated from french):

1. I know Scientology has a campaign against psychiatry here in Québec. Are there any scientific critiques made by credible sources regarding their campaign against psychiatry, but also their teachings in general(see q. 2)?
The first piece of advice would be for the journalist to examine for him/herself the written materials produced by CCHR. Those will - on their face - highlight the problems that CCHR has in creating logical argument.

Secondly, the co-founder of the CCHR with Scientology was Dr Thomas Szasz, a psychiatrist who is now 90 years old. Scientology (and the CCHR) base their attacks on psychiatry on Dr Szasz's critiques of the profession.

In April 2009, the Australian national broadcaster did a 3-part show interviewing Dr Szasz and then two psychiatrists who responded to Dr Szasz's critiques of the profession.

The two psychiatrists were:

Professor John Sadler
Daniel W. Foster Professor of Medical Ethics
Professor of Psychiatry & Clinical Sciences
Chief, Division of Ethics and Health Policy, Department of Clinical Sciences.
University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center

Ethics Faculty-John Z. Sadler, M.D.

Dr Michael Robertson
Senior Consultant Psychiatrist
Senior Research Fellow
Centre for Values, Ethics & Law in Medicine (VELIM)
University of Sydney

Dr Michael Robertson - Publications - Sydney Medical School - The University of Sydney

These two men would be ideal contacts for the journalist.

ABC - Oz interviews CCHR's Thomas Szasz

"Ultimately, this is not about religious freedom. In Australia there are no limits on what you can believe. But there are limits on how you can behave. It is called the law, and no-one is above it."
Senator Nicholas Xenophon addressing the Australian Senate, November 17, 2009
"Dude, that's fucking egregious."
