i've tried debating science with scientologists.
they tend to fail utterly and ignore your arguments. they have no good response for why scientology's claims have not been independently peer-reviewed by a study from a major university or medical school. they also tend to argue that their anecdotal evidence is somehow superior or at least equivalent to data gained from such a study.
