This was a flash raid that was completely unplanned -- it just happened.

It seems our friends at the Toronto Org have a huge stack of fliers promoting their Oxford Capacity Analysis. The only problem is it lists their now non-existent Riverside mission as a contact. Since no one calls them anyway and since this one chap I encountered needed his stats up he was handing these old fliers out at Yonge & Dundas.

I knew there was a Scientologist nearby before I even saw him. It has nothing to do with Scieno-senses or anything; I merely saw about 5 or 6 fliers on the sidewalk, discarded quickly by whomever received one.

Anyway, I round the corner from Yonge to Dundas and standing outside of the theatre is none other than a low-level gruntwork Scientologist! I was so excited. Stupid bastard was out there in 23c weather with the sun beating down upon his black IAS jacket.

I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

As he reached out with a flier in his hand, I said to him at full Tone 40 "Did you know David Miscavige beats his staff?"

Pause.

"...how do you know that?"

lawls. I told him I've read affidavits, I've read the lawsuits, I've read the articles and I've read Miscavige himself say everything but deny the allegations. Told him about TampaBay.com/scientology and told him to figure it out.

I reached into my pocket and gave him a Who Is David Miscavige? card I printed out (one of about 100 I always carry with me) and put it atop his stack of fliers and walked off.

Get this -- dude chased AFTER me to give me the card back. "Excuse me, I don't want this" he said as he politely (!) handed it back. I took it and he bolted off back to his spot. "Thank you for the comm cycle," I shouted back. Not even a half-ack in return!

In any case, when I passed by an hour later he was gone. Hopefully he got all his stats up before he wrote his KR for Davey. I may have made someone a PTS today.

Those sort of raids are always the best.

I've been out shopping before, masked up and walked past Tottenham Court Road org here in London, pausing outside to yell "morning" at the usually two bored scifags inside the org, before quickly demasking and heading onto a bus (it's all about the timing) and they've never caught me.

Another time, there were 4 outside the org leafletting. I masked up, and stood across the road from them, leaning on a roadsign, saying nothing, just looking. After a minute, one glanced over at me, said something to the others who all turned and looked, and all shot inside faster than anything. Again, I disappeared to a safe distance, then de-masked, turned round and took up an observational position some way from the org - nobody came out for an hour.

Spontaneous can be more fun than big organised protests :)
