Dear All,

In 2 weeks from now - 21 & 22 February - we will be well into our
first International Book-a-thon for this year.
You might, or might not, know that every org and mission on the
planet takes part in the game. This is a game with winners only. But,
one org stands out as THE Best. Last year you could see Charlie Wakley
from London on stage with his booksales team. London was the winning org
on the planet and sold the most books to new public.

We want the UK orgs to win and you are playing a vital role in that
game. How?

- Every book you sell to a new public, every book package, every
audio book or package, DVD, CD, etc... counts on your org's standings.
The only prerequisite is that you sell the item and let your org know
what you sold.

How can you sell books that weekend?

There are the stress test teams that will go out under the competent
guidance of your org staff members. Get in comm with your PES and find
out when and where to go - and... get drilled so that you feel competent
in doing the stress tests.

There are fairs and markets, etc... you can go to. Go on the internet
and you can find those fairs for your local area.
Just last week a team of our East Grinstead field auditors went out to a
psychic fair in Crawley. This was found to be very successful.

As gone over previously, there are various societies and groups that
can be contacted for specific items. e.g. truckers are interested in
audio books, so are the blind societies.

You can also deliver a lecture to new public and sell them a book or
the beginning book package afterwards.

Note that, for the purpose of the game, we are going for Basic books.
i.e. put the emphasis on Dianetics, Self Analysis, etc... rather than
the booklets.

We have 2 weeks time to prepare for the big weekend. I know we can
pull it off in true UK style.

Are you playing with us?

Let me know any bright ideas you have to get as many books sold as
possible.

I thought Anonymous did a fairly good job preventing the London org from selling books.

Or is it that we're so awesome that their pity amount actually was better then the rest of the world and that Scilons suck ass at what they're doing?

When we did lulz week we did. The sold one book in three days and that was by someone reluctant who said it was for a 'friend'.

Current intel is that the scifags are travelling in from East Grinstead to TCR. There are lots of newfaces to troll people so mini raids now are extremely capable of providing lulz.

The orgs yes, but we need to work on the tables. Heard there were some in Clapham earlier today, went to check it out but they were gone by the time I got there. Saw some of their propaganda lying about.

might explain why 4 tables were out - desperation - in London yesterday, although several raiding parties went down there and I know of at least one undercover anon that wasted their time on a stress test.

I think he was on Oxford Street yesterday; I'm sure he was wearing a Dianetics jacket, and was going into the toilets at McDonalds as I was leaving. I followed him back down Oxford Street to locate the tables.

Incidently, he bought back an apple pie for someone else who was at the table.
