Demos, Ghandi, and myself went to the Plaza to protest today...Scienos had a yellow tent set up by J.C. Nichols fountain and were giving nerve assists. We were out there handing out fliers from about 4-5pm. It was fairly uneventful, but hey, that's a good thing. Demos has some video footage that he'll be posting shortly.

One question - when you called re: CoS having a tent set up at JC Nichols, did you find out if they had to have a permit or did the property owners just allow them to be there? I know in some organizations I've worked with in the past that have used that park, we've needed permits.

Just wondering if Anon would want to get a permit to use the same large area. Beats the cramped 39/Main area.

No, they did not need a permit as they were on public property.
We could protest at that location whenever we want. In fact there are always people at that location protesting something. The Scilons rarely set up at that park tho, usualy they have stress test tables setup in the actual shopping area, taking advantage of the 4 foot variance.
