Freedom fighters appreciate that each protester is individual and speaks only for himself, and that the cult will die the death of a thousand cuts from the unique approaches of a thousand activists.

Perhaps you should tender an offer of restitution as part of your presentation, since you are on film and you are intentionally stomping on and destroying property of the cult. This and a plea to a lesser charge could be something your attorney could work out with the prosecuting attorney.

Perhaps you should have a surveyor as a witness or at least some admissible documents that demonstrate that the pansies were encroaching on public property and then you might get the judge to understand the reason your pansy stomping would be excusable or at least would serve a free speech function, called symbolic speech.

You might try a necessity defense, and explain that you had no criminal intent, that you are trying to bring attention to the cult's crimes (list here) at the location, and that in a way, getting arrested was the only way to bring attention to the much more serious human rights abuses of the "victim."

And, be a ghandiesque gentleman, be appropriate, listen and don't interrupt, and your charm will prolly carry the day.....
