Is there some reason that we're just accepting these numbers at face value rather than considering the likelihood that the bookathon has been even more fail and these are the 'bumped' stats. Personally, I don't believe for one second that they can have sold 450 books in Oz / NZ what with the massive negative publicity there's been there recently.

Let's see; Belleair Mission, five miles from the Flag Land Base in Clearwater Florida. Been spotted doing stress test tables in Downtown Clearwater, they have been known to mail everyone in the immediate area DVDs, haven't gotten one for a couple of years but I'd guess I'm on their shit list. They have a free stuff table in front of their little strip-mall walk-up, I know that there are WTH booklets on there, I might have seen DVDs too.

They also violate one of the cardinal rules if I'm not mistaken. No services within some distance of FLAG, 20 miles I think? Belleair is five miles from FLAG.

I believe that there was at least one recent ex-confession to rigging one of these sales games, so no, we can't take numbers at face value for the highs. However, they're unlikely to rig lower numbers--so locations with no sales are a good indication of dead orgs.
