This is an undated Newsletter from Bridge Publications (Scn's book sales division) to all org staff

This Books Make Boom Game will end on Thursday at 2:00 p.m., before March 13th.

The Books sales staff in the org with the most points (in their League) will win a Commendation Chit in their Ethics file and the org will probably get a fancy certificate/plaque.

I believe, but I'm not positive that this Books Makes Boom Game is a TOTAL BOOKS SALES stat for each org.

These are the stats for the EAST US orgs only.

This is a different stats game that is also being played up until Thursday, at 2:00 p.m., before March 13th.

This is raw books sales, which means books sold to RAW MEAT, or brand new public. This is the stat of the book-a-thons, where Scn goes out on the street or to Flea Markets, etc, and sells Diarrahetics to wogs. Books are a very important stat in Scn and per Hubbard Books Make Boom, meaning that when people read him, they will recognize Source, and they will want more. Therefore, Book sales will drive in business to the orgs.

NOTE: These numbers aren't the number of books sold, they are the number of points earned in playing the game.

I'm not sure what Århus is shortened to but it should be on that list. I don't believe you will see any of the orgs from Copenhagen. From what I can tell, there are no Class V orgs in Copenhagen, only missions and an Advanced Org. The list in the OP are all Class V orgs.

Scientology considers that bookselling is the preliminary to Scientology (or Dianetics) expanding in an area. Bookselling comes BEFORE their other expansion. So whenever you see bookselling events occuring in areas that Scientology is not already well known for, then know that Scientology has PLANS for expansion there and they are focusing on the booksales at this point.

There's a COS reference called "Books Make Booms".

Another one (GROSS BOOK SALES---DEFINITION) says: "Book sales are our oldest index of future business. The new definition is not to lessen the importance of the actual sales of books."

Then there is this one (MINIMUM BOOK STOCKS) which says: "Books are the primary line and no org can expand without pushing and making tons of books available to its lists and the public."

Thus, you check out which orgs are pushing books hard, hard, hard, and know that COS management is behind it with a big "inspiring" stick ordering those booksales to occur. And those with the biggest order and push from COS management will get the most booksales. THOSE are the orgs targetted by COS management for some sort of expansion plans.
