I find this minimally interesting. Imagery somewhat consistent with the current (or recent) COS television campaign, but in my experience completely inconsistent with prior print posters and graphics -- and particularly same regarding staff recruiting, which always tended to be very serious, "the world is failing," "we are the only hope," and militaristic.

I'm not saying this works, mind you. Just that it is intended to convey a very different message. Like Scientology is lighthearted. Like being on staff is... carefree?????

I wonder if, like the current (or recent) COS television campaign, this was produced by a professional, "wog" ad company outside the COS.

It also seems to be some small effort to... change... adapt. Not necessarily a successful effort, but an effort nonetheless.

It actually worries me just a bit. Not that the ad will be effective, but that it might demonstrate some recognition that what they were doing wasn't working and some effort to adapt.

It is like the current (or recent) COS television campaign. I thought it was surprisingly effective. (Certainly more effective than an exploding volcano.) More importantly, it showed deviation from the script (and Hubbard's belief in the volcano implant), some recognition that prior campaigns didn't work, and some effort to learn and adapt.

There's something odd and disturbing about her (shooped?) hands. They convey something akin to stress or fear to me. It's almost as though she is pressing them (especially her left hand) up against a glass walll or other implied "invisible barrier" as if trying to GTFO.

It's Marty Rathbun's favorite fucking word. He uses it to describe every new follower he announces. I think this poster was DM's way of trolling Marty and it worked because Marty just did a post about - claiming credit of course.

Obviously they got a professional wog company to do the campaign - someone who told them how ineffective their crazy ass military posters were. Be interesting to see how long DM can tolerate taking advice from others (esp non-culties) I give it another month till we get back to him personally overseeing the crazy goebbel's like propaganda crap.

Kha Khan, I am disappoint, you should already know this. The word was definitely not randomly chosen. Insouciance is supposed to be a big OT quality according to Hubbard.

Insouciance is supposed to very high toned, and can undercut entheta by just getting things done and ignoring bad shit around you.

I suspect this ad is aimed getting OTs on staff.

Its also a definite reaction to anonymous protests, with anons singing, dancing, and generally cutting loose with silly crap that the cult doesn't know how to counter.

Someone with patience can try searching past and present HCOBs for the words Insouciant and Insouciance to pry out the special significance of this particular word to upper level scilons.

Its a Hubbard thing from "Spirit of Play". Scientologists are only allowed to think thoughts and use terms that Hubbard already thought and used. No creativity allowed. Especially in anything from the organization itself. That way no-one can be accused of being a squirrel.

I think it is a good sign. It shows they are bleeding and the whole joint is falling apart.

Lets face it, the cult cant win this war. There is too much information out there. All these PR and ad campaigns cant change the fact that they are finished. It will take a while but they are simply unable to attract new raw meat. They cant attack critics properly anymore and when they do it creates more backlash.

We have to keep hammering them and then let natural attrition do the rest. ANd the way these OT VII's and 8's are dropping it may be sooner than we think.
