Re: Scn Service Completions - Advance 198 [circa September 2008 ]
Go here: Advance Magazine Statistics At the bottom of the page you'll see the Advance Mags for 2007, but the 2007 lists do not contain the BASICS courses. The only way to compare is to subtract the basic course comps from the total and it will give you an idea. Also note that I'm missing Issue 196 which I believe belongs in 2007. |

Re: Scn Service Completions - Advance 198 [circa September 2008 ]
The only way we've been able to do any kind of stats is by totaling up a years worth of stats.
As stated earlier, Hubbard's policy is that the mags are not to be dated. So it's always been a guess as to what month the mag was issued. Also Scn does not publish the mags in a timely manner. They don't publish them every month or two months on schedule. Instead they are posted 2 months apart, then 4 months apart then 5 months apart, then two months apart, so comparing them issue by issue won't really work. How we've figured the stats in the past is to find the copyright date in the magazine and then total the stats by year. Until someone sends me the comp list of Advance 196, I won't know if it covers the rest of 2007 (which I think it does) or if it's the beginning of 2008. |

Re: Scn Service Completions - Advance 198 [circa September 2008 ]
It's sad really. They've been doing their damnedest rushing all those people as far across the bridge as they can, in order to get enough OTs to be able to change the course of reality.. All to discover that no matter how many OT7/8's they have, they won't be able to rewrite reality itself..
Kinda makes me feel sorry for them. 13H Refutes CCHR's Industry of Death ... Context for scilon belief ... Scientology Counter-Points |

Re: Scn Service Completions - Advance 198 [circa September 2008 ]
It's fun to look through the names from prior issues and see who's not listed at all.. Including the few interesting entries like Paul Nagel who was at OT prep in 07 and on this '08' is listed from clear - ot5. I detect the distinct smell of bullshit... wonder if there are other completions from prior years included as well? Don't feel like it personally.. but if annoyed enough it could be entertaining looking for further overlap.. as well as to see who's apparently accomplished nothing since last mention (seem to be quite a few of those).

Re: Scn Service Completions - Advance 198 [circa September 2008 ]
About a year and a half ago, he and Marissa did an interview with the Italian Vogue, and the writer reported that Beck had reached Clear. No idea if he's gone beyond that or not. (BTW, don't know if you know this, but Sophia Coloma, who also completed OT V, is Marissa's business partner.)
