Saw a thing on sunrise this morning, they interviewed Bob Adams about Xenophon's claims. Thought some people might be interested. Haven't seen this posted yet.

Bob Adams only apears on news media if there are no opposing guests. He specificially asks for this everytime and is even prepared to waste airtime baawing about it if is the only way he can stop the opposing view from being presented. He is very poor at handling proper critique. He's like a timid and less batshit version of Heber Jentzsch's former role.

If you contact the awesome Bryan Seymour, also of Channel 7, and ask him to have a friendly word with the Sunrise presenter, David Koch, then you will probably find that there will have been demands from Bob Adams not to have any critic on during his interview.

Don't forget that senator Xenophon was allowed to accuse Scientology of very serious crimes in public without them being able to defend themselves. Perhaps it is fair that they get at least one shot to give their side of the story? Afterall, they are on the defensive, with serious allegations having been leveled. Remember that the media didn't exactly dig deep and investigate the claims made by Xenophon nor did they investigate the credibility of his sources. They've approached this more from a "this is what one side says, this is what the other side says." But certainly there was no investigative aspect to this.

I will agree that too often the media tends to act as a mouthpiece for groups because it is easier than challenging those groups during interviews.

Unless scientology has a seat in parliament then it just doesn't get to partake in proceedings there. What they would need to do is find an opposing senator as ignorant as you to give support to their cause, if they wanted to engage in parliamentry debate by proxy. Outside of that, they can still contact Xenophon or any other senator and give their view (and I'm sure that their secretaries are still going through the sackfulls of copypasta scino-baaww as we speak).

Note how Bob Adams claims the letters that Xenophon received to his office were "unsigned" - total and utter bullshit (but you already knew that) Also enjoyed the part where he was getting a little huffy and forced the interviewer to stop speaking so he could complete the stock standard spiel of how much the Organization is expanding. Keep on doing that, it makes the viewer remember how batshit your "Church" actually is.

The interviewer was a total wuss and woefully unprepared, what fluff questions, didn't challenge any of the aburd lies Adams was spewing. Millions of members, more growth in the last 5 years than the previous 50, that explains why the orgs are all dead?
