Congresswoman Berkley: Scientology provide effective human rights education

Gosh, tell me about lowered expectations. My respect for american politicians just reached a new all-time low. Seriously. What in the dickens is going on? How can the USA declare this company to be a religion at all, how in devil's name can secular politicians align themselfs in such a manner with a wannebe-pseudo-religious scam company???????????? Don't they see the hidden agenda? It's not the intention of SciFag Inc to educate about human rights, it's a covert act to a) give themselves an altruistic image and that one of a religion and b) to be able to seek shelter against all attacks against them, declaring all attacks a breach of human rights (and they do it). Damn it. Why are so many people so stupid???
