We've fallen to 50%! Anyone actually know if this new bot works right? Or if it's just fail tech? Anyone know if it was tested on any other msn polls to see if it works?

It's not the script, it's likely manpower. We've lost 1-2% percent each day no matter what script/tool we use.

It takes 11k votes to gain a percent, but that's without counter-votes. Currently it takes about an hour and a half just to have the total votes up by that 11k.

So we're definitely counter-voting succesfully if it takes them 12-24 hours to gain a margin of 11k, no?

We're simply not counter-voting enough to actually gain a margin on them ourselves. Could be multiple reasons.

Hmmmm. It just seemed like over the last 4-5 days we were so evenly voting and the new script seemed so much faster. I thought it would push things in our favor. I don't know. Maybe I'm making stuff up, but I thought we had more people manning the bots in the last two days plus apparently new better bots. Seems like we should be winning. No?

Those were my thoughts. Provided the new one is working I can add in about 9000 votes in a day, so we must be being seriously outvoted if we can't gain the 11k margin to even win one percent back.

I so hope they believe that this poll will determine the outcome of the proper trial, so that their hopes and dreams can be crushed when they realise that it was all inevitably futile.

The script did seem fast.

However, throughout the day I've noticed votes/pm averages of 100-150. That's what we had on previous days as well. Which seems odd, no? I expected to at least hit 200-300 with such speed.

Perhaps it's time to go back to basics. Modified basics at that, as I just tested the Firefox macro on the first page, on a different poll. I will PM people with it.

In the recommended update a couple of minutes ago. There is a easier way to make sure that your votes are registered.

Just click on the Test button for test mode (using a hopefully idle poll).
Click Result button to see the before votes.
Click Vote to start on the test poll
Click Stop after a few or more votes
Click Result button again to see the after votes.
The Vote count at the bot should be about two less than the registered votes on the website.

Of course if two people test at the same time all votes will count.

The way I figured it, and I'm no programmer or anything, the VPM was limited by what the MSN servers could handle. We were almost always hitting it with more than they could deal with so they would only allow 100-150. Maybe when traffic was light on MSN our VPM went up. Traffic heavy = VPM goes down. So we were trying to grab a larger percent of the VPM with more people/more bots.

I figured that because my bots alone were getting like 40 VPM. And I knew there were more than 3-4 other people boting out there. But like I said, not an expert so....

173 votes a minute. Whatever we're doing, keep it up I suppose.

Also, as a little test, try not to run as many tabs and windows as you normally would if you feel it slows each window seperately down too much. I think it hinders the amount of real voting. Two windows, regardless of what you use, should suffice per system.
