Article is more fail than win IMO, although it could have been a lot worse, and the lawyer got in a lot of quotes, most of which were right and germane.

Where I come from, going off into the woods and shooting targets is just plain old fun, that's how it is anywhere infact. I heard about this on irc, but never imagined the scope of it was quite this bad. poor guy is getting rail roaded because he wasn't careful with his choice of words. sounds dumb, but it's true.

they caught him in the act of loading guns in his car before the raid? my god I could just see camera saying "uh, I know what your thinking.....". how aweful.

you know what would be funny, is if they gave him a PSYCHE evaluation that determined that he wasn't any danger to anyone, lol. that'd really stick it in and break it off with the scilons for sure.

The article could be better. Sounds like it's not just the law enforcement ppls in Vegas who need to lrn2reasearch before jumping on something. They should have mentioned they held him for several days in jail with no charges. Looks like most of the commenters are Vegas locals who are baffled at this as well.

This juxtaposed to the Ford Hood shootings is really what is wrong in America. The Fort Hood guy actually tried to get in touch with al qaeda, and the feds knew about it.

It just shows that if you have a position of rank and power in the U.S.A. no one questions you. When you are wealthy or in a position of power like the Major who shot everyone up know one worries about you; they just figure you are eccentric. Now if you are just an average earner and not a Doctor or Major you really can't voice your opinion or express your rights without some asshat trying to violate them.

I have been wracking my brains here trying to find a sound and solid method of making the resources of our enemies our own. I am on to an idea, but I think the likely hood of success is only 40%.
