noice! so this is the missing piece between Halperin's past interviews where he's mentioned the gay actor infiltration op and what little cult background info was actually in the tom cruise unauthorized bio.

so i always figured there was more to the story of Halperin's cult investigation there, but assumed it wasnt big enough (or sensational enough) for whole book since there wasnt any hype nor mention that i caught wind of before now that Halperin was even considering doing another scilon related written work.

i read halperin's books thru local library and if i recollect rightly, scilon stuff in hollywood undercover was only part of the book and it covered other hollyweird crap as well. its like he's been exposing scientology in extended teases - a lil bit at time wrapped up in another/bigger topic. so good to see there *might* be another book in the works where scientology is the main topics. *if* it true - he's due to shi- or get off the pot in terms doing the ultimate tell-all.

I dunno. Since Andrew Morton's Tom Cruise book, two years ago at least, CoS has been running on their old reputation for chilling effect rather than any real legal actions. Pretty soon, they won't even be able to scare a bunch of old nuns with it.

I suspect the 2010 book is a re-release of the older book with updated information. Like what the Scilons do when they want to sell old material... they add new info here and there, give the cover of the book a fresh new color & design, add photos, etc. Voila! Brand new book! (same old re-hashed crap).
