Well, Representative Gus Bilirakis. Damage has been done.

Last night I met with my friend, a greek, in a wealthy and influential greek family in the orthodox church of Tarpon Springs where you are from and a member of the church. My friend was appaulled at the info I had about your dealings with the cult. Conversation something like:

Me:"By the way, do you know Gus Bilirakis?"
Greek:"Gus? Oh yea, of course! He's great, my dad knows him really well."
Me:"You know he supports Scientology?" this is where i show my friend dox.
Greek:"WtF. I can't vote for him now. I gotta tell my dad this."
Me:"Will this news not go over well at church this weekend?"
Greek:"No it wont. Greeks hate Scientology."

Pick your friends better, sir. And I'd advise no more letters supporting the cult to other countries if you want to keep office. Have a good one.

I talked with a friend of mine a week or so ago about Rep. Bilirakis signing the letter to the French Government. He has been a supporter of his for some time and was upset that he would have anything to do with the cult. He called me last night and said he had contacted Bilirakis' office and was told that the letter had absolutely nothing to do with Scientology. He was also told that the whole thing is due to the actions of "a group of nut cases" who have been protesting the cult and they had taken the letter completely out of context. He then chewed my ass out for passing on unsubstantiated rumors about such a fine man. I suppose this is the line they are taking with any complaints they get.

Hey Bruce, your friend should have asked about the events Bilirakus has attended hosted by CoS....or the flag he gave them for the Plant City branch....or about when he met with Kelly Preston....or (need I go on?).

It does make me happy that his office knows about us nutcases and realizes that what we are doing/saying is not good for his reelection. Probably just be easier to distance yourself Gus.

Upon further consideration....what BS, so many people who signed their names on that document have ties to the cult. You cannot hide the truth.

I had lunch this weekend with my friend's dad (the rich ass Greek one)....he really does not like the cult. Evidently, they have been sending him recruitment shit for like the past 10 years to try and get him to come in for courses. He was deff NOT amused with how much his friend is in bed with the cult.

First of all he didn't talk to Mr. Bilirakis directly but one of the office umpa lumpas. He said the letter was about freedom of religion in general and a government deciding which groups were religions and which were cults which should be suppressed.

In any case whatever the truth is no politician in this area is going to admit support for the cult. At most they will do as Clearwater politicos have done and say the cult is here and has to be dealt with in a business like manner.

Keep in mind that before anonymous started keeping an eye on things these people knew they could sign such a letter with few if any constituents being aware of it. Playing both sides against the middle by accepting support FROM the cult while denying support FOR the cult has been going on for some time. Putting the heat on them for these type of actions will show them there is a political price to be paid for supporting the cult.

I forgot to mention that I have told everyone I talked to about the history behind the letter. Many people are not that interested but some are and will look into the matter more deeply. It's really just a matter of continuing to speak up and refute the bull s**t. The truth will out!

SO true Bruce. Mayor Hibbard still tries to play that middle of the road stuff too. I can't blame the politicians honestly, its been 20 years now where they have to play by cult rules to get elected. Its just time for us to show them that the cult reign of our town is over.
