Nice job.

Suggestion:
Try to find an appropriate place to include his previous title "former International Security Chief of Scientology" (in order to highlight the cult's secrets and their paranoia about him leaving)

Maybe in the 2nd paragraph:

The looong title does tend to drag out that sentence so you might prefer instead to restructure to keep it punchy.

We should not forget that he is a German national. It might not be a bad Idea to have it translated into German as well. 1. Because it is a respectful thing to do 2. It could cause an uproar in Germany that could have an effect State side.

The RPF is analogous to China's "reeducation camps." It is not political in the sense that we think of politics. It's punitive, a deterrent, and a way for Scientology to either bring you back into the mindset required, or just get you out of the way for good.

Lisa McPherson died as a result of neglect. Probably Uwe did as well, so you could say their fates were the same, they're both dead. They just took different roads to get there.

Now, this doesn't read like a press release at all. It's more like a script for an Anonymous video. My two cents, anyways.

Are we 100% sure of this? I read something about MedicAid or some such, seems like some sort of "official" medical institution. maybe he only received insufficient medical care? In any case a man with multiple sklerosis shouldn't be in an RPF, no matter what.

That's what I thought, and had assumed the text would be used for a video. I think we'll need an official press release as well.

Edit: There's mention of it here. It hits all the relevant information we have at this time; maybe part of it can be reworked into a press release for this specific incident?

I have a couple of videos in which I use YT's annotations feature to update the latest global protest date. Rather than re-compiling just to update a single frame of data, the annotations feature can be updated in two minutes.

And the RPF is a re-indoctrination and punishment gulag, basically. Scientologists who have doubts or don't get with the program are sent to the gulag for punishment. Scientologists consider it to be the equivalent of repentance and claim it is voluntary penitence; the rest of the world sees it as a hard labor camp designed to punish cultists who piss off upper management and to re-indoctrinate cultists who are beginning to regain their critical reasoning abilities, and that it is replete with human rights abuses.

Protesting the abusive practices of the Cult of Scientology is pertinent to my interests.
