Can't edit my posts anymore. This is a bit of a problem, especially when editing drafts of texts.

edit: Strangely enough, it's possible with this post, but not with other posts, such as those in the translation section.

I think there's a time limit on editing.

It's better to start a thread and then use the wikis

Thanks for your answer. If there is a time limit, then it must be fairly recent. I've edited the Brennan affidavit draft to no end for many months and now I can't edit a post as recent as one day ago. You are probably right about the wiki though.

After 24 hours you are unable to edit your posts.
This to prevent further abuse.

You can however in the rare event of a First post needing updating; post a reply and report it for updating.

It's a bit annoying that we can't update OP ourselves in protest planning threads, but if mods are OK with slightly more work (we suggest update, press report button), that should be fine too.

Was there a lot of abuse of the edit function?
