Carmel Underwood and the other Aussies and Sen. Xenophon are asking if everyone could write a petition and get some signatures at the Global Rally on Sunday. It is urgent because there will be a vote on MONDAY in Parliament on investigating the cult.

If we could get these petitions done and send them to Sen. Xenophon ASAP after the protests he could present them in Parliament Monday!!

ALSO if everyone could get some videos on YouTube of their protests Channel 7, 9, and 2 will be using them in their news Monday night. I will get the addresses for those channels and post them. All you have to do is let each channel know where to find them on youtube.

Can someone make a template for the petition (like the cover page and all subsequent pages) so that when Anons from around the world send them to Senator Xenophon, they have some uniformity?

It will make Anonymous look professional and like we've really got our shit together (at the very least in the lovely office stationery department lol).

Each cover page should feature a spot to be filled in with the name of each city where the signatures have been gathered. It should also include a preamble of what it is (a petition), why (to show global support for the Aussie inquiry), and who it's being presented to (Senator Xenophon).

Make it look all official and stuff. We don't want random scraps of amateur paper dumped in his lap.

About the petition template...

Should it include the name and logo of Anonymous, or is that too limiting?

It might give the cult ammunition to point at the petition and say it came from "that" hate group and make the effort seem like something from the lunatic fringe.

Maybe don't feature the Anonymous name and logo, since we'll be collecting signatures from the general public who are not part of our group?

Australia's legal and political system is still very formal, I would suggest not commericalising it with logos etc, instead I would consider a letter format,

So does that mean every person who signs the petition has their own page (as opposed to just a list of signatures)?

I think this is an important distinction that should be explained to Anon as a whole.

In light of the formal legal and political system in Australia, it might be better to let each person have their own page to fill out instead of what will surely turn out to be an unsightly list of signatures.
