An alternative would be to hold the global on the 15th, and while lots of cells 'flash raid' on the actual 5th (some flash raid, organised 7 weeks ahead of time...)

This is a better idea. Besides, having the global on the 8th would be the earliest we've had it since the beginning. It would only give people 3 weeks to prepare from one raid to the next.

You need to remember that it's quite cold (in Europe) - every week later will be colder and colder and so will this fact represent in the protest numbers.

I think 3 weeks are possible. Isn't like that that we need to organise that mich like in the beginning of our protests.

I agree that the day/month/year format is more elegant and logical.

I also know that it will be a source of endless confusion if we don't take care to abbreviate the month when discussing global protest plans (e.g., 11 Sept 08), so whether it is 8 Nov or 15 Nov, disambiguation is good. :)

If you're of school age, check to see if your school is in session or not, whether either week is an exam week or midterm week, and if this sort of thing will interfere with your protest plans. It'd be a bummer if you guys couldn't attend.
