Yes im am new to this site but i hate Scientology just as much as you guys.

Haven't been logged in a few days and I had an idea then I logged on and saw this topic. WHICH I FUCKING LOVE.

Not sure if this is something that might be wrapped up with this idea or if it warranted a separate thread.


Anyway,


Over the last few days I have been talking with some folks that know a little about Chanology and a couple that don't know anything about it at all.

To be honest, I was having a hard time covering everything. Other than Scientology having a long screwed up history. Chanology is starting to get there itself. Coming up on two years and A LOT has happened.

So I was about to point them to the some of the compiled stuff. But I didn't think it actually had the right spirit of what has actually occurred. Personally I love the "Road to" videos. They get me pumped. But they are... almost to clean. The message is right but lets be honest, this whole thing everyone has been involved with has been a hodgepodge of randomness. Frankly, that what I love about it. I also think it what works about it.

I started thinking about what videos have spoken to me and what I think has impacted other people. Anon, OG, News, Hubbard's own words. Could it be pieced together into a semi coherent; semi chronological message?

A Too Long, Did Watch video. Something that shows the diversity of everyone and everything involved that people won't shutdown after 5 minutes?

Take a mix of following groups & videos and put them together with some glue?



tl;dr Make a tl;would watch video mixing up the different perspectives and groups that make a story that explains Chanology. Audience would be noobs and/or press and/or politicians and decision makers.

Actually, this is a fascinating idea. A quick, jerkily edited montage of Chanology vids and news reports would be a fast, easy-to-digest summary that leaves the viewer piqued but doesn't waste too much breath on explanations.

Personally, I think a good opening bit would be a clip from the Tom Cruise vid, then the same clip played in reverse at 10x speed, fading to white/black for a handful of seconds before playing the opening line of the first Message to Scientology. Go from there.

Alternatively, keep the message playing as an audio track throughout the vid, synching up relevant clips, occasionally cutting the audio to hear important news/interview lines/crazy scientologists.
