Well, as someone who went to a couple of Philadelphia protests, I have to sit down and say, yeah. Someone/Something/We/Philly anon fucked up. I think what DC did was awesome, and we needed it. Either way, something is clear from what they did. Even after we get called out, after not giving a shit, and after not explaining anything, you guys have not done anything about it. So now its in the hands of the Hivemind.

The date will probably change, but whatever. We can start with this, and move from here. (probably too soon or something) If we got to wait til after easter, so be it.

Btw, I don't intend to lead anything, thats what got us into this mess. There is no problem with decentralizing either, and there are places we could do it, but why not start here, and work at this.

I'm not sure if the old crew still hangs out on IRC, but I don't think they come around here anymore. Numbers aren't something we can't fix with a little flyering though.

You should get in touch with the guys on IRC, but very few of them still raid/would like to raid. I know a lot of them now just /b/lackup us (NY), DC, or ship up to Boston for protests. I went to the last raid in November, and one building's completely shut down and pointless to protest at, while the other gets (from what I heard) no foot traffic. Still, get in touch with some of the oldfags on IRC and see what they want to do.

Historically we've always protested at the perpetually under-construction Chestnut street location. It's not where the actual org is (13th & Race) but it gets a ton of foot traffic. We also never really got any handlers (we got taped by scilons up 'till May, but nothing after that). Anyway, if there are plans to have a real protest in April I'll try to get some friends together to post fliers around the philly colleges and get some recruitment going. Maybe we can rebuild this cell.

akshully, I'm going to have to give a point to the Phillyfags on this one: If I had to protest there time and time again, I'd get pretty bored, too. Maybe after that convention center construction is over it'll be worth it, but not now.

Find some virgin territory in the city and proceed to deflower the fuck out of it.

Also, the IRC to philly is here Philadelphia Anonymous - Organizing Anonymous of Philadelphia against Scientology, although I don't know who runs it, we could probably use it to plan. (as we do planning over IRC) Most of you should know where that is. Hopefully we could get more people through that, but getting fliers in is a good help.


This leads me to the next thing. I know we don't need a permit if it is only a couple of us, but if we do get a good amount of people, then we will need one. If someone can PM me any information, that would be awesome. (although it will probably be figured out over IRC and whatnot)

Alright fellas,

I haven't messaged back in a while, but we will have our protest on Sunday. We will protest from 1-5

12:30, meet up in front of city hall (the usual spot)
1-3ish We hit up chestnut street
3-5, we go to race street

Small details about where we will be and what we will be doing at those times may change, but you guys get the general idea.

As to those who have not been in Philadelphia before and want to protest, (I know there are a few of you who said they might want to do this) here is some details.)


Our city hall location (our meet up) is right next to the entrance pf City hall closest to market street. To people who have protested before, this is the usual location.
The first location is at 1316 Chestnut Street. This is the huge 7mil unrenovated building next to the Macy's store, and its very close to city hall.
The last location is at 1315 race street, and this is a few blocks from city hall as well.

TO MAKE THIS EVENT RUN SMOOTHLY, WE NEED POSTERS, FLIERS, AND WHATEVER YOU DECIDE TO BRING TO MAKE THIS LULZWORTHY!!!

I will bring probably 2 posters, and roughly a 100 fliers. Its simply not enough, and I know one of the older protesters used to bring plenty of stuff. If everyone brings posters/fliers, we should be fine, (also, I think there is a place we could make copies of fliers down the road need be) If someone wants to bring music, caek, or props, that would be awesome.

On a more personal note, I will really only be around to help organize this raid. After this, I will be preoccupied with more personal stuff. Helping get us back on our feet is really all I intend to help with, but hell, I would enjoy showing up to the protests after this. We really need to think about the direction our city has gone down in the past few months, and how we could get some of our old glory back. (in b4 Philadelphia was never good)

I will put a very serious effort into making it to this, and hopefully bringing fliers/signs. I don't have a boombox or anything, but I have the "official" raid soundtrack downloaded and can burn it to CDRs if anybody else is bringing one.

UPDATE ABOUT PROTEST TIMES

I called the guys who do the permits, (just in case) and of course, we don't need a permit to protest. However, they did ask that we keep it to 4 hours. There were also more people who could go if we did the protest later, so we will meet up at 1 and go till 5.

12:30 meet up time

Sorry about the late changes, but I don't think people were gonna be there that early anyway. Personally, it would have been difficult for me to be there that early as well. A lot of people told me it was early as well, so thats why Its later rather than sooner. Sorry if this REALLY screws with people's plans, but it needed to change anyway.

So... who actually went?

Not making excuses, but I got a flat tire on the way there. My spare was also flat, which held me up til 4.

I got there with a friend around 2, spent an hour or so looking for "everyone else," and then just made some signs and protested at the Race street org for 1.5 hours or so. Anon9k3 showed up too, so three of us total. Foot traffic was lame as usual, but we YFTC'd whoever and wherever we could.

After a while Bruce came out and took our pictures, and then had a pretty civil talk/debate for about half an hour. After that we hung around for a little bit longer until it started to get cold.

Civil Affairs were there and were awesome as usual. Told us that Anon is the best group they've ever worked with, and took our side when the scilons complained about us blocking their doorway.

Good time, despite the lack of numbers.

Yes, I was an admin until fairly recently, I actually visited the site often and deleted spam posted there. But I was demoted and then namefagged in a mass email. Thanks Philly Anons for keepin it real.
