YOU are invited to attend the Hollywood MEGARAID the weekend of Chanology's 2nd Anoniversary, Feb 13th! (Can you believe we've been doing this for 2 years?) But wait, there's more! For the same low price you get not one, but THREE days of epic enturbulation in the belly of the beast we call Scientology!

Why should I come all the way out to dirty Hollywood? Duh, you're bored with your own org (does your city even have one?) and want some hot, fresh action. You've seen the retardedness we deal with from both Scientology and the LAPD and you want in on that! Also, it's our Anoniversary and what better way to spend it than yelling at OSA's Int HQ? Be romantic, faggot.

But, but, it's such short notice?! I know right? But who do you think you're dealing with here? We're not exactly known for our planning skills. But hey, you wanted to learn to be more spontaneous anyway, right?

Fine, I guess I'll figure out a way to come.. Damn straight you will.

Are you arguing with me? Never mind - just answer this: What are we going to do there? Well, we actually have 3 days of stuff planned! We don't expect that you'll be able to attend all 3, so the main event is Saturday with some extra stuff crammed in on both Friday and Sunday depending on how awesome you are and how long you can stay. We're going to post more details later, but here is the basic outline:

Friday
We meet in the late morning for a brief panel discussion (less than 2hrs, still being determined) with several ex Sea Org members. They will be talking about what it was like for them to be trapped inside of the cult and how difficult it was for them to escape. It should be interesting to hear these first hand accounts and will hopefully make for some good video for the masses as well.

After we wrap that up, we're going to take a little road trip to Gold Base in Hemet, CA. This is about a 2hr drive each way, so be sure to memorize your songs before we go. We aren't sure how we will handle getting everyone out there just yet, which will be largeley determined based on interest. So if you are coming and want to attend that raid, let us know so we can help figure out how to get you there.

Saturday
We meet in the late morning (again. We don't do early in LA) at one of the Hollywood cult locations. We then proceed down Hollywood blvd for a guided enturbula-tour of their many, many locations! Not only will you get to see touristy crap including the Walk of Fame, Mann's Chinese Theater, the transexuals, etc, but you'll also get to raid the following locations:

• ABLE - The Association for Better Living and Education International
• Author's Services Inc
• Long sign
• The Test Center (Book store)
• CCHR's "Psychiatry: An Industry of Death" Museum
• Hollywood Education and Literacy Project
• Hollywood Guaranty Building, home of OSA Int and the LRH Life Exhibit

Then we hop on the subway to save us from walking 2 miles to visit PAC Base which consists of:

• Day Org (big building that says Dianetics with the scrolling sign on sunset)
• American Saint Hill Org
• Mary Sue Hubbard's schoolhouse
• Advanced Org LA (yay OTs!)
• and of course, the RPF!

Sunday
Wow, you still want to raid? Ok you hardcore faggot, this leaves us with an excellent opportunity to meet up at Hollywood's Celebrity Centre for brunch! Well, I'd strongly advise not going inside and actually eating for a variety of reasons, but you're welcome to hang out with us outside as we show them some love. This is the spot where all of the wanna-be celebs come to stay and get their training, and another means of luring the public in with promises of waffles and a pretty building. For some reason they absolutely hate when we show up here! If we're lucky maybe they'll blast us with some Doug E Fresh on loop again or maybe you'll get flipped off by a D-list celebrity! Just remember, no swords. I REPEAT: NO SWORDS.

That sounds like a lot of enturbulation! That it does, my friend, that it does. We've tried to pack in enough activities that you'll be able to take part no matter what your schedule. Please come out and have some fun with your LA friends!

OK, Where do I stay and how do I get around town? What am I, a travel agent? Ok fine, we'll put together a list of some suggestions. Just post your interest in this thread and that'll inspire us to help.

There's a billion airports, where should I fly in? Well, the main airport is obviously LAX, but you should also check prices for Burbank as it is WAY easier to fly into and very close to Hollywood. You can also fly into Long Beach if you have a friend driving you or want to grab a rental car. It'll add about 45min to your drive but isn't unreasonable. Be sure to check all 3 airports for the best cost if you're hurting for cash!

As someone who has had brunch at the Celebrity Centre....unless there is another event going on that day, they will be lucky to have 30 people there during the entire brunch. They will see you when they enter the parking area on Bronson, and if they eat outside, they will be able to hear people on Franklin. But I think a nice walk around of the entire property would benefit any tourist. The Celebrity Centre (Château Élysée) is the most elegant example of French Normandie-style structures in Hollywood that were build in the 1920's.
The main entrance is actually on Tamarind Ave, and you can still still the name Château Élysée on the walkway to the entrance.
