Its getting hotter and hotter over here on the West Coast, so raiding will be a whole new experience here in San Jose. Let's keep this in mind when we lay the smackdown for this next Global picket.

San Jose Global Raid: Going Green

Where: Scientology Los Gatos Org, 650 Saratoga Ave, San Jose, CA
When: 11am-4pm
What to bring: LOTS AND LOTS of water, clothes to accommodate the weather, LOTS of signs, a decent amount of fliers, and a green article of clothing or accessory

The reason for the added green is of course for Anons' support for freedom in Iran. This raid will NOT be focused on Iran, but as we have come out publicly in support for freedom of information in and out of this country, it is best felt that we still honor the commitment by supporting with showing a bit o' green on us. But our signs, our fliers, and our words, will all be used to showcase the brutalities of Scientology.

Sound good to everyone? This is by no means mandatory, but just something to do should you feel compelled to do it.

Also, can somebody PLEASE print out a copy of the S.P. Times? It would be amazing to show to Allender what the world knows about his beloved leader :) GOD, I love good press.

We have tons of fliers, but we rarely hand any out at San Jose because foot traffic is almost nonexistent. It's pretty much all cars, so plan of having something short and sweet that can be read at a reasonable distance from a moving vehicle. If you aren't big into sign-building, we usually have a goodly number on hand anyway.

By the way, I heard it from a completely reliable old timer today that Hubbard used to pronounce the name Tustin as Tuuustin (rhymes with Houston).

According to this logic, he would have pronounced his own name as Huubard instead of Hubbard.

Last week I left all three chapters of the SP times at the unmanned scio kiosk at Newpark Mall. I waited for 30 minutes but no one showed up. I had the full intention of handing the chapters to someone and asking them to explain them to me. I couldn't wait any longer for someone to show up so I left the chapters on top of the kiosk. So, if security was called and you were harrassed by them it could be my fault. My apologies!

If you guys want to bring chairs and such, that would be awesome. The only problem I see is actually having enough room to do so without blocking the sidewalk, but I think we can be creative and work around that.

Thats funny as hell. No worries, I go there pretty regularly and leave flyers on the kiosk. they are only there on the weekends so dont bother any other time if you want to talk to them.

one lady said she was a volunteer and said she wasnt a scio but when i persisted she clammed up and just stood there (I failed to keep the convo going). I did however get a "thats terrible" out of her after I told her my story.
