The CoS has permits to march with police escorts and use a bullhorn. They're going to gather in the "Free Speech Zone" outside Moscone South where they will be allocated a space for over a thousand, possibly more, people surrounded by barricades. We won't be able to enter their barricades in the Free Speech Zone but will have our own barricaded area adjacent to theirs in the FSZ. They'll use that place to collect their numbers (one source said for one hour) and then leave the barricades to do a march along the sidewalks escorted by officers. The cops will be prepared to block off a lane of the street if necessary to accommodate the quantity of people.

Once the scilons leave the barricades, we can technically "mingle" with them but for every one of us there will be 25-50 of them. We should stick to the outside perimeter of their group as much as possible or maybe walk on the opposite sidewalk. When there are this many scilons and so few officers, I truly do worry about Fair Game and one of us getting jumped by brainwashed fucking cultists who then disappear into the masses. Stick near our camerafolks.

The officers there will know about us in advance and have heard only details from the Scientologists, i.e. that we're all child-molesting anarchist terrorist hate-mongers and think we're there to instigate homocide. When we get the chances, we should approach the officers and kindly tell them that (1) we're there only for a peaceful protest, (2) they say the exact same things about psychologists and psychiatrists and (3) this is all just a publicity stunt for them to convince normal people to buy into their space-alien cult with a long criminal history.

They will ultimately have the jurisdiction over us so listen to what they say or face the consequences. If you want your way, show exemplary politeness so you can disprove the scilons' hyperbolic portrait of you.

Once they march, they're really going to march. One source said they're going to make it down to Justin Herman Plaza at the intersection of Market and Embarcadero, one of the busiest and most visible places in San Francisco. I can't be 100% certain about that or, if they do, which route they're going to take. The source told me they're going to march down Market St. but it came off as hearsay. If that's the case, extra points for them and us!

Wherever they're marching, we'll be. Latecomers will have a more difficult time finding us since we'll be a moving target. If you're going to show up after 12pm, you should probably check Justin Herman Plaza before the Moscone area. If you really can't find us, take your masks off and grab a cab to drive you around the area looking. The cabbie may already know the protest's whereabouts.

Again, unless others discover more information, we won't know much more about their exact details. The plan in a nutshell now is to be at the Moscone Center Free Speech Zone at 9am and then play it by ear after that.

I think we should all reasonably expect the march to be down the sidewalks of Market St.

I found it ridiculous that they might close down Market traffic for this nonsense but later remembered how spacious the walkways are along that street. If they are indeed going to Justin Herman Plaza (which I have good reason to believe they are), Market would definitely be the most advantageous route navigationally (see map) and for drawing attention.

By the way, just for the sake of mentioning it, do any SF-based anons want to do post-16th small protests outside the exhibit? We haven't talked about that at all.
