I agree that you handled the situation very well. My comment was to refute the whole legality of the Bullbaiting process, though my hope is that the Magistrate will see this activitity as an attempt to incite violence and take a stronger hand with her sentencing.

Hear, hear. They would like to make you paranoid. Sometimes it's better to ignore or deny their games. When possible. Any time someone gave me a reasonable explanation for something I went through with probably-scientologists, I seized on it. Of course, later on they might send someone to tell you that really was them so you'll feel foolish.

It's better if their ambiguous, plausibly-deniable intimidation and harassment not register on us. This forces them to make the kind of spectacle we're now accustomed to.

Did a re-reading the tl:dr description of what happened and compared it to other very similar incidents described on a.r.s. and other forums over the years.

Her words and actions are so close to those the Cof$ has used in the past to try provoking an "assault" incident from a protester, she had to be using their play-book. Including the part about claiming not to be a $cilon. In fact, I'll bet part of her phone conversation included instructions to absolutely not admit any affiliation with Cof$.

I've just learned that the police's official statement is that she is a "40 year old Halifax Woman".

I am not sure how that makes things clear those are laws suggesting that if the anon did something to defend himself before she actually touched him (and this anon didn't touch her or do anything of the kind) he could argue that he "BELIEVED" he was in danger and struck,pushed, or struggled with her from a provoked attack. But sorry him being a guy in his 20's and her being a woman in her 40's nobody would have believed that he thought he was in any danger.

We are talking about bull baiting, not someone who says "I am going to punch you in the face".
