Alright, here's the deal.

We were walking up 8th Ave to the party. THey had a huge stage up in the middle of 8th Ave, and had everything infront of the CoS blocked. THere was a "Sidewalk Closed" sign about 500 yards from where we were stopped. There were no signs anywhere else, other than a "Left Lane Closed" sign that we were just infront of.

Security guards swarmed, 3 from directly in front of us, and 2 that ran across the street. They said "Take off your masks or we'll take them off for you". They said we needed to "take our asses out of here". I asked the female guard, "Is this not a public sidewalk?" She said no, that they had purchased the sidewalks for the day and that we needed to leave. I replied that there weren't any signs. She started screaming that we needed to get the fuck out, so we turned to leave. As Anon 44 turned to leave, they came at him from behind, sideswiped his legs, and threw him to the ground. As they pinned him to ground, they screamed at him that he needed to leave. He said over and over, "I'm willing to leave! I'm trying to leave!" and they still screamed that he needed to leave. Note we were STILL about 500 yards from the first "sidewalk closed" sign. I called 911, it took them over 30 minutes to send an officer out. BY that point, we had 44 back, bruised and scraped. When he was walking away, he actually skipped back to us. ROFL. He got cited with a Misdemeanor for "Aggravated Criminal Trespassing". The cop that showed up 30 minutes after the 911 call refused me a police report. He was very rude.

We have 10 minutes of video. I am not going to post it until we've talked to a lawyer.

Also I'm going to edit out my 911 call and me crying hysterically. :)

Gear up for May 2nd, bitches. It's on.

Information we have: Their sidewalk permits did not extend to where we were. THe also were not booked on the day we were there; they expired on the 24th.
They also cited him wrong on the actual citation: they said he trespassed onto Olympic, but the only time he actually crossed olympic is when THEY took him there. In handcuffs.

Wait, they had the street close to traffic, but they were enforcing no human can use the sidewalks (on either side of the road?) and then some rent-a-cop?? Security?? tackle Anon and he winds up with criminal trespass?

Was there a cop there? I can't see how it is trespass when you said you would leave and were leaving? Also, they can't tackle you on public property to execute a trespass violation unless it was a cop doing it.

U need more details.

I suggest Anon organizes a parade on some Saturday up and down 8th Ave S. You just need a namefag to file paperwork and maybe application fee.

Please tell me that the police officer got ID information on the "security guards".

It would be high risk to use hired security guards for this, because they might lose their license. Much safer to use flown-in Sea Org that can be shipped out of the country.

No, it was because of HUEG marathon of tens out thousands and all public servants were doing traffic for the marathon course. That's probably why they were so aggressive. Because if they were to wait for cops, it would be forever. And also they can act all hard knowing cops won't be able to mediate.

Badge numbers is not a problem here. Since it's not a large group of police officers, all that's needed is to check the police logs.

Though with 30 minute response time on a kidnapping, who knows if Nashville police use such fancy things like logs and computers.

Stop saying this people.. It was concurrent with huge marathon. I'm surprised if cops showed up at all.. though what is odd is to shut down major road like that and big event, wouldn't scilons be required to have public safety involved? Did Anon forget to communicate with local cops about planned protest? Actually, the marathon and 50,000 people probably took all priority.
