I've got a question for recent ex-members on information that they doesn't seem to be succintly answered elsewhere, yet should be pretty easy to answer.

What I'm wondering is how big of a deal we are within Scientology. Do they have a constant siege mentality, or do they try to deny how large we are to their members. Also, how much of their income are they spending on suppressing and harassing critics? We must be a drain on their resources, but having at least a rough estimate on how many staff members/how much money they use against us could prove most useful in estimating how much money DM has left in the bank.

No doubt DM has millions "squirreled" away. But here is a question: Why does he continue to open these new multi-gazillion dollar orgs? What would be the point since obviously there's a mere 50,000 or so $cilons left in the world, there's no one to fill the damn things.

The ideal orgs are not really for the the Scientologists, they are real estate for international management, who owns them after the local Scilons raise the money themselves to buy them. So that's actually another way to squirrel money. Probably.

To your last point, I believe it's called real estate holdings (value). DM paid nothing, it's all his, what's to wonder? First point, maybe 1.5 billion, not millions. Too lazy right now to quote who on OCMB said reliable source figure. Not incredible. Consider DM snatched financial reins since 80's. With compound interest, not a stretch.

Not to say that DM hasn't left his "orders", but he, personally, is likely on the run.
Recent "idle org" openings are proof of his paranoia. Next one might be "teleconferenced" from some remote, third world country, which he could afford to bribe for the remainder of his retirement. imo

Considering how few members the cult has and how few people now think of Scientology as anything other than a freak show. I'd say we are a much bigger pain to him than we should be.

Simple: Anonymous has SEVERELY damaged Scientology's brand. People who never heard about the cult now hear about it. The public is being innoculated against their stress tests, etc, etc. Without new meat the organization dies.

Once Hollywood's cash cow dries up (and it will), it's game over. They can't stay in business if they can't afford to pay their bills.

I once heard a plan. while I was till "in", about creating orgs that were very central to major communities. The theory, from HUbbard's "Problems of Work" book about confusions and stable data. tl:dr = Hubbard said confusions can be solved by a stable thing being a focus instead of all the random motion.

In this plan, (in Scilon think terms) being that the "wog" social structures are going to fail due to having no LRH tech they will collapse into confusion and economic distress. In that case the orgs (Idle Orgs) would become highly desirable "stable terminals" (terminal= cause or effect point in communication systems) and be able to be the thing people rush to in the social confusion to provide refuge, food, guidance, new tech and "a brilliant future of OT".

Well, I think we are ruining that plan as citizens will avoid the cult like the plague after our exposing the truth about Scientology.

It was way different back in the 90s and even in the 00s, the cult used to try and put out every single fire and hardcore harass critics. It took balls to protest the cult prior to Bob Minton and even after it still was no picnic, but since Anonymous made in mainstream to protest, the cult is sinking precipitously.the cult is spending a fortune to try and stop it, yet everything they try fails

Not Scientology is just a freak show, and laughing at it has become mainstream. Anonymous had a lot to do with that. Tom Cruise used to be a marketing tool for the cult prior to Chanology, now he's a liability

I don't really know if they "hand over" the building and pay rent per se. I think what they do is pay to use the building for their "religion" and Tech Support. I think the building owner, a scifag, owns the building and pays the taxes, utilities and pest management.

I am thinking of this kind of like how a McDonalds works. Somebody with a wad of cash gets permission from the Head Office or something (in Scientology's case - DM or one of his cronies). This money bags builds a McD's building per whatever rules the main corp has for its construction. When that is done, the money man either: A) Runs the place or B) Hires some fry pusher to be the boss. In either case - the money man gets the profit, but has to contend with all the rules of the chain and local, state, and federal laws.

IOW - I don't think DM owns these buildings entirely, but rather owns the right to have Scientology Rituals done there.

I think we are the number 1 thorn in DM's side. I think when we first burst on the scene and he couldn't handle us, he most likely shit himself.

As it stands, I would not be shocked if we caused his blood pressure to go up a couple ticks and his teeth to be ground down a bit.
