I don't normally cry at threads here, but this got me sniffling. Most of my family is on the autistic spectrum. I've been sticking my fingers in my ears and ignoring my Aspie diagnosis for years. My whole family is pretty much a walking fucking target for these freaks. As if it weren't bad enough being a case study for genetic autism...

A good place to repost this might be support groups for parents who have autistic kids, places like that. See if we can't bring us some support.

I sent this story to the ASA, Autism Socierty of America, I believe they are the biggest autism resource in the states. Hopefully they will get in contact back, or use the info wisely. They just happen to have a chapter, #134 to be exact, here in Clearwater, but no email, just a phone. I asked the national ASA to email the local chapter with the story for me. I know what they do. I've seen them try to sell it. I had them try to sell it to ME. Hit the autism sites...they "pop" up all over the place....I am aware that not all scilons are evil and full of malicious intent. That's what makes it so damn scary...some of them think and believe wholeheartedly they are HELPING. They are the scariest of them all.

I maybe silly and sorta spastic and lulzy at the raids...But I never forget WHY I am out there. I never forget how serious it can be.

Well this is weird.
I mean really weird. Good timing, too.

My husband, myself and our seven year old are all Aspergers. I don't see it as some big woe is us curse. We actually have come to have humor around it...
You sorta have to. Laugh, I mean. It helps get you ready for the next battle.

What's odd here is finding out how wide spread it is...I am used to having to explain this rather often...and LATELY especially stuff has gotten pretty difficult with regard to this issue.

I feel some measure of relief today.
And renewed hatred for culty shit.
I regularly post anonymously in many Aspergers/autistic forums about avoiding Scientology sites and promises of "cures." I put up "youfoundthecard.com" cards EVERYWHERE at school and such.
Sorta a big mouth about it.

Their practice of finding desperate for answers/scared parents is nothing short of disgusting. And needs to be stopped.

Especially when you've tried so much (drugs, therapy, physical therapy, Occupational therapists, diets/allergists, different doctors and specialists, MOST not ever covered by insurance) to try to get a grip on the issues that come up in main stream society with just BEING on the spectrum.

oh, and for anyone reading this going thru it, one word of loving advice:
FUCK GUILT

it has no place in your mindfulness or readiness to seek help/guidance. Understand that this is not your FAULT....
Autism is not a FAULT. It's a fact.
And it's O.K. there are a lot of us, and we are anonymous.

blurry thread. re: ops posting, color me not surprised, i had heard stories like this before (google is so full of anon related stories, it's a little hard to find the one I'm thinking of atm).

what might be important is making sure contact is kept with this mom and she is encouraged to attend a protest. her's would be a valuable story to get out there, both for her and anon.

Demonology. The Catholic church to this day casts out

Ed: Somatic means "of the body".

So, Pre-OT's are taught that being PTS is the cause of illness. OT's, however, are taught that Body Thetans are the cause of illness.

If you can assign "fault" to a soul for their disability, it's easier to "ethically" get rid of them.
Scientology shows no mercy to anyone. At all. All there is are crimes to be searched for. Souls to blame. Because of this, they are going in no direction, just standing there, assigning blame. Over and over again.

Thanks for telling us this. It only affirms what I see throughout this train of thought. It's a dead end road. And it consumes itself with no mercy.

my friend has aspergers, and i have another friend in az, she has aspergers and her son is autistic.

If someone had preyed on them like that, they'd find out what what fair game really was.
