He doesn't want people to think that even though its true.

Ya know the spin is such that you have to pay attention, as always, to every word. The lawyer says meds "can" have horrible side effects. And that it "might" have reduced him to a vegetable. Both true statements, and completely misleading at the same time.
Really rather well done, for not outright lying.
There is an art to telling the truth that is completely misleading. But all you have to do is pay attention, and analyze every word.
And this anonymous is doing, and the main stream media is failing at.

The promotional video of John and Kelly is something that most people can agree with. Over-medication actually is a problem, and drug companies have been known to partner up with corrupt "professionals" to prescribe drugs to people who don't need them. Same thing happened to me when I was a kid. However, this is just sort of a gateway into the Scientology belief that all drugs are bad, and only Scientology's purification program can help.

If they are truly only fighting against over-medication, then it wouldn't be that big of a problem, and most of what they're saying would be true. The part that ruins their credibility in the promo is when they go over how psychiatric drugs "can lead kids into harming themselves and others", which is one of the big spins Scientology puts on psychiatry and psychiatric medicine. They exploit things such as school shootings and suicides that make the media, and blame psychiatry in an attempt to help their cause.

most of those kids are on add medication,

and the ones that are not are normally because parents don't parent the way the should and harm their kids, physically and mentally till they get depressed and suicidal. or their parents leave one another and they get depressed. or in the other rare case, their parents drank and did drugs, like my aunt did, and her child came out very messed up.

most kids I know that are on meds fit into one of those category's.

I do see most of those kids on many medications, that could be limited, thats were it gets aggravating, that they are too young to take this pill so they take a counter pill to take the one they need.

I think if parents just did their job more or payed attention to their kids, instead of giving them 20 or 40 dollars and sending them to the mall and actually watch what the hell they do or listen to a lot of these kinda 'mental sicknesses' could be avoided.
