As one of the two remaining Ocalafags, I'm pretty sure I speak for both of us when I say "no u." It was a CHARITY EVENT, benefiting local shit. Yeah, the Jett Travolta Foundation was in there, but so was our Humane Society (which is overloaded) and our advocates for the homeless (whose number is steadily growing). After weighing the options of being complete douchebags and counterproductive to our own city by trolling John and getting trampled by rabid fans, vs. sitting comfortably at home, it was decided that we two Ocalanons would much rather watch SGU.

As much as a Travolta event would appeal to a protest, this event was less Scifaggy and more helping locals. Whenever he decides that he's going to have a red carpet event for the Ideal Mission's opening, we'll be there.

Thanks for the correction Zebrafaced, I thought was just more sifaggy. The article didn't say anything local stuff, just made it out to be that Travolta was there.
