Although I think it is a very nice thought, this may not be the best idea. I would like to be able give him a token of appreciation for having the fortitude to conduct and air this investigative report, but the cult would use it against him. I am sure the OSA goons are conspiring as we speak.

Plz... it's what we do now in this country, we're so accustomed to half-ass work that we shower those who do it epically rite with praise (see: capt. Sullenberger).

for TV reporters, half-ass work is the norm... presenting both sides of anything 'equally' even when one side is completely fucking wrong. I really think Nate here is the Sully of TV journalism. Not in the sense lives but he showed everyone else in the field how it's sposed to be done.

Instead of sending anything other than emails or shoops of gratitude to journalists with huge brass balls, why not create an extra page to the WWP website for these journalists? Give it a catchy title and then provide links to the most newsworthy video/news reports.

I think there would be many benefits to having a news story hall of fame type area of the site, instead of always digging through the forums. Public who visit the site for the first time could find the area easily and they would probably be inclined to check out some of the links.
