A lot of my recruits are terrified as tits about the risk of getting fair game'd. One way I got them into Anonymous was by giving them the extreme dangers and past crimes of the Co$. So they are flippin' sh*t about the protest Saturday.

I think a few of the locals have been C&D'd but not many. Maybe two. The only problemomication is they're like terrified now about their automobiles and junk. I've gone twice, and one time I parked by everyone else, and the other was a raid so I parked somewhere miles away and walked, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't followed. Even so, I don't think they'd go to the measure of scoping out every public parking place for miles just to catch anotheranonanon. Any ideas on how to reassure the fresh meat?

When driving, and within a reasonable distance from the area you'll be parking:

1. Wear a dust/flu mask or bandana over your face. EFG masks, while driving, are a bad idea.

2. Remove and hide your plates.

3. Cover your VIN.

hai guis - fun question, possibly relevant for newfags: if the scilons do discover your address (and phonebook your name, whatever) - how quickly do they react on it?

do they C&D you asap or what?

context: i've been raiding for over half a year now - only one anon in our cell has been dox'd and C&D'd (and that was the anon who reports our raids to the cops for permits, had to dox self for that, cops leaked it) - no other anons in our cell has reported any issues either

but what the average response time of the scilons if they do get your dox somehow? (other than the good old 'show up at raid with a dox-sign' thing)

Can't remove plate (illegal or abandoned vehicle can gets towed, ouch!), can't alter (also illegal in most places).

Altho some Anons do get C&Ds, these are few and far between and usually only go to Anons who are a major threat to certain local Orgs.

Having said that, prevention is always better than cure - so take all possible precautions.

I'd say that's very untrue. There's been a huge spike in violence at raids where protesters were attacked, assaulted, or had their civil rights violated by Scientologists lying and slandering them to the police. There has been a consistent abuse of law enforcements calling in fake threats and wasting resources as police have to come out to each and every single protest to the point where the police have actually told the CoS whiners to SHUT UP, STOP CALLING.

The C&D letters are still in force, Tom Newton still works to harass and threaten anyone he identifies and their family and friends, I know people who have had their jobs visited by Scientologists trying to get them fired or delivering C&D letters at their workplace, most of us have been stalked home, photographed on the metro, or verbally threatened. Exes are threatened, they're called in the middle of the night, they have their home visited by Scientologists and paid PIs to follow them. And do I really need to mention all the fake bomb threats, fake powder in letters, and fake death threats that the Scientologists repeatedly try to blame on protesters, critics, and the BBC without any evidence and their claims refuted by FBI investigations? This blatant lying is what led to the violence and false arrest in Nashville among other things, resulting in a severe footbullet for Scientology who claimed responsibility and an embarrassing legal quagmire for the off-duty police and security personal who now find themselves under legal penalties for their actions. All attempts to fair game, harass, and intimidate people who speak out against abuses.

Is OSA doing something is horrific as the Fair Game against Paulette Cooper during Operation Snow White? Unlikely, they'd be caught and exposed for something that blatant. Is organized Scientology using its resources to illegally threaten, harass, intimidate, silence, and destroy critics whenever possible? Absolutely.

Be smart, be safe, and be vocal. There is risk, but the risk decreases the more willing a victim is to contact law enforcement, the media, and speak out to everyone who will listen at the top of their lungs. It's a good thing we're all loud and obnoxious, it's a good defense.

I know you have said there was no spike in violence. I did. Between caffine guy in California, assaults in Hemet, the Nashville assaults, and assault in Washington DC within the past few months, I think we can see a trend. Not to mention the assault in Seattle, the assaults on the Ex in NYC, and I believe Minn. where the scientologist assaulted a protester then ripped up his sign.

The thing I am thankful about is that no one was seriously hurt during these attacks, but the frequency is increasing and the time between assaults is decreasing.

Several sporadic incidents spread out over time. Hardly a huge spike. If anything the protests have been remarkable for the lack of physical confrontation. Look at other contentious protest movements and then compare to Chanology.

No it doesn't show an increasing trend. Again, there's a few scattered incidents. When you consider how many protests there have been, 4 or 5 conflicts hardly indicates a trend. It indicates some people getting angry at some of the protests. And really, besides the AO incident and the bullshit in Nashville recently, has there been anything other than hands being shoved in cameras or signs being ripped out of hands?

That's what I'm saying. There's been remarkably little physical confrontation. I never said anything about Chanologists engaging in violence.
