See now, normally, I'm the one bawwing about how scientologists are not scientology, and we have to be nice to them so that they leave and we win blah blah.

But the thing is, the overriding concern is how can we most fuck with (for the lulz or the justice) the cult - and often, fucking with the culties on a personal level risks sending them deeper into their orgs.

But celebrities - well, far be it for me to tell anon what anon should do - but it seems to me there are plenty of ways to fuck the cult VIA one of their big names... There's a big gap between 'love the cultie 'cos it fucks up the cult' and 'love the cultie cos they're not the cult'

I have said similar things before...the answer is always that it's important to point out how, despite being however high on the bridge she is, she is not "at cause" over her eating/weight gain. And I do understand that. But I still feel sorry for her. It's bad enough to be an ordinary wog, dealing with a weight problem; she's got the eyes of the world on her and must constantly feel pressure from that and from being a fat, aging actress in the entertainment business. And I'm sure she feels like a loser in terms of the whole "being at cause" deal, because in Scientology, it's always your own fault, not the fault of the tech or the auditors or other people handling you. So I'd rather make fun of Scientology for failing her than make fun of her for failing. But then I am a fat moralfag myself.
