This explains a lot too...if the CWPD understands why we're protesting and why we're hiding our identities, it makes sense that they wouldn't ask us to remove our masks. Whether or not it is illegal to wear them in Florida (which never seemed to be fully determined) it sounds like the police at least sympathize with us and are willing to give us the benefit of the doubt.

What are the facts behind permits for us? I doubt CWPD is going to do a complete about-face in April, but...if we're looking at a different set-up than "usual", it may be an issue.

Oh. Well, with the numbers we had last time, it shouldn't be *too* impossible to get 50 people to cash in $25, or an equivalent...I'd recommend Paypal, though; some of us, myself included, don't carry anything day-of that I'll miss if it gets lifted, including wallets.
