Richmond, VA
Alright fellows and fellettas, last one was awesome, but there's a slight chance we can do even better. Hopefully no one will wander off this time, heh.
Same place and time, as far as I know. Place: 3600 W. Cary Street, Richmond, VA 23221 Date: April 12th Time: 11 AM until we all get bored. Fun Stuff Music- More than four songs this time, guys. The newly released album Rock the Scilons will be played. Created specifically for the Richmond protest! Enjoy my crappy taste in music, wankers. Nurishment- There will be pizza. Please eat, guys. We'll have two at first and, when it looks like those are about finished, we'll get more. We don't want to end up with 10 untouched pizzas. There will also be water. We're going to get some sodas and such too. PM me or Anon210 with any other ideas. Activities Wise Beard Man Lookalike Competition- Head to your costume shop and grab yourself a fake beard (or grow one yourself!) Either way, make sure your face is beard. Winner gets a beardily awesome prize. Scilon Knowledge Off- Study your dianetics, propaganda and Scilon history! If your words are wise, you'll get great (cheaplol) prize! P.S. The prize is not a lie. It's in my hand right now. Also, it's not my penis. Dance Contest- Who can party hardest? Again, prize in hand, not penis, etc. Awards Ceremony- Awards will be handed out for previous protests. Please PM me or Anon210 with any ideas, for the contest or otherwise. Notes Some people have expressed concernes that this won't be as SERIOUS BUSINESS as it should be. The fun and games shouldn't impact the protest aspect of it much. I doubt everyone will participate, so we'll still have people handing out pamphlets. If no one else is during the few games/contests, I will. We got a semi to honk for us last time; I say this time, we aim for a firetruck. Also, plz 2 b no moar "HATE SCIENTOLOGY", especially this time. It's about the love, guys, the love. kthxbi. DUDE WITH THE AIRHORN, please PM either me or Anon210. Thanks. This is gonna be a party and a protest guys, so let's get a protest goin, when it's time to protest we will always party hard! I don't believe they ever opened it up in Richmond, but there was a person in the "Church".
(Still we want to keep it closed, and not have it open, plus spread the word.) The nice thing is most people in Richmond seem to be open about looking at the information, and asking us questions, which is a good thing. ^_^ I am planning on being there, but I think we should have sun screen, I know I was sun burnt, but a lot of the people there were badly burnt. Oh, and FYI for all Anons: Do not give people your number unless you carpooled with them.(So contact reasons, and still use a false name.) No others... Oh, and No walking off with anyone from a protest, unless you came with them. (Including rides to get copies made. To the person who did that believe us, we were just heading out for the cop station to report a missing person when you showed up.) We do care, and we do worry. |

yeah. (And the guy from the dinner needs to contact me too...hmmm...)
<.< >.> <.< Anyways: I think the fliers should have something about families, and how they are being torn apart by the Co$.(Or at least some fliers, since that is what April 12th's protest will be centering around.) Maybe we can also use the tax exempt fliers as well. |

I've managed to missed both times due to being out of town and I've come to learn I may be out of town for the next one as well.
So I am thinking about hanging up different ads for the protest to help out. Where do you guys think are the best places? |

Including, but not limited to, Through the Fire and Flames, Money, Space Oddity, You Just Lost the Game (No Really, You Did; This Isn't a Song Title), Bad Religion, Comfort Eagle and many more! Order your copy today for only FIVE Internets! Pic related. Last edited by AnonymousInternetter; 03-21-2008 at 02:33 AM.. |

Also, I need a way to get to the site via public transport. I can walk to a GRTC bus stop, but the trip planner on their site fails. I can walk a mile or two, if there's nothing that takes me near Cary. But I intend on bringing delicious cake depending on bus ticket prices, etc. Last edited by /b/rother anon; 03-21-2008 at 07:00 AM.. |

Update: Alright... After getting the opinions of some other people, I may have gotten rid of some songs and added some more classics. You'll just have to show up to see. Last edited by AnonymousInternetter; 03-21-2008 at 11:27 AM.. |

Alright, if I'm correct from what I see (I may be wrong, I'm directionally challenged), the GRTC from the Regency Square Mall will get me to the site, and fairly cheaply ($1.25 and free/15c transfers?), however, I can't plan out a route until Saturday, March 29.
Also, if the bus route is that cheap, I may load up a backpack with 24 waterbottles and carry delicious cake. Also, I hope sunscreen isn't necessary. I hate rubbing white gooey stuff all over my body. |

/b/rother anon, around where are you located? If it's near norfolk or on the way, I could probably give you a ride.

Re: Richmond, VA
YOU good SIR LOST the GAME!
As for songs Never gonna give you up is a must. XD (Just no 4+ hours of it, so I have it stuck in my head the following 2 days straight...lol) @ /b/rother anon- There is a Kroger right behind us, so if you don't feel like lugging stuff around you can find it there. As for ideas...If anyone who works at a grocery store, or bags anything could start slipping fliers, or papers with links, and helpful information into the bag it might reach some more people around the city. If we switch gears to helping people more publicly it might draw more anonymous to come forth as well. Last edited by Hakumei_Kohaku; 03-21-2008 at 04:42 PM.. |

Re: Richmond, VA
RE: music: I have an MP3 that is a mix of "What is Love" that was designed (and succeeds at) fluidly playing as a single song for the full length of a standard 80-minute CD. I'll have to burn a copy. It's amazing.
It's floated around the tubes for a while so I'm sure I'm not bringing any news to the table with that, but it's still awesome. |

Re: Richmond, VA
Just don't take any protesting gear into that Kroger, judging on how someone working there freaked out during that scouting mission before 2/10.

Speaking of protesting gear, are we wearing masks here, or no? I ordered a Guy Fawkes mask a few days ago anyway. ($6 with $8 shipping? lol wut?) |

Re: Richmond, VA
Masks are illegal 'round these parts. At the February protest (I didn't make the March one), the fuzz were overly harsh about covering our faces, so I wouldn't even pretend like you're going to wear a mask.
That and you got ripped off. Costume supply stores sell those masks for like ten bucks, I think. |
