Update:
This is one of the easiest things I've done and it has brought results! Thank you OP!!!
According to the letter, Scientology claim they will change their leaflet (found here):
RapidShare Webhosting + Webspace
Now I am assuming the cult have promised they will change it, but actually they won't, because they think they are above the law.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it:
Obtain an unchanged copy fresh from the cult after 17 December 2008 when the list of resolved complaints is published.
Then we complain again.
If Scientology do in fact keep their word (ha ha) then this has cost the cult money as they will have to trash hundreds of old leaflets. If not, at least it has cost them time.
Key phrase in my complaint letter that made it go through:
Quote:
"One of the discoveries of L. Ron Hubbard, since proven by scientific testing, was that residues from drugs and other toxins lodge in the fatty tissues of the body and stay there, even years after they have been ingested. These residues can continue to affect the individual adversely long after the effect of the drug has apparently worn off."
My science education is weak I admit, but this strikes me as highly unlikely. It is a prelude to selling Scientology's 'Purification Rundown' which is very expensive and not scientifically based.
