OK I said I was not going to keep posting on this but I wanted to make an exception to answer this good question.
The reason they knew is that before the suit could be filed a sort of administrative complaint had to be made to the relevant labor department with a copy to organized scientology in the hopes that this could be resolved short of litigation. One of the things filed mentioned the others that this attorney was representing.
They were the ones pressured to back out as above.
True to their nature, rather than honestly addressing complaints as above, organized scientology "attacked the attackers" to try to get them to back off and not demand their rights. It did NOT work with Marc.
