Which is pretty screwed up, because I actually liked Pluto Nash. It was offbeat, unusual, and poorly promoted. I saw it because I decided to go see a movie before deciding what to see, and made my decision based on a 45 second perusal of the posters on the way in with my S.O.

But it's quite fitting that Battlefield Earth is #2. I don't believe I've ever seen a movie with a movie star whose name I recognize that comes even close. It was just unbelievably awful.

Which is, in a way, sad, because the original book was actually pretty good, in a rambling "Independence Day" Movie sort of way.

Yes, I know, I'd still love the chance to flog its author with a gas powered weed-eater retrofit with balls and chains, but the book was actually good and I enjoyed it before I felt the butthurt of Scientology.

As for Battlefield Earth, the only way I'd ever consider watching it would be with the RiffTrax accompanying it, as well.
