If you can be tempted to spend money on shiny things, a commercial proper VPN service like WiTopia can be useful.

I signed up with them before their most recent price-rise, so I'm not sure if I'd pay the current asking price, but on a technical level their OpenVPN-based service is great. You can choose your endpoint, so you can "be in the US" or even "be in the UK" if you wanted.

It's recommended for basic privacy, plus using it turns "untrusted insecure shitty public wifi" into an entirely acceptable connection, but I have no doubt they would assist police/FBI/etc. with enquiries if you were doing Criminal Dumbfuckery down their pipes.

Oh i had already found an episode using ovguide.com its where i go to search for any episode.

Main reason for this post was cause im not sure when ACTA will take place. its possible it can take place anytime and if it does. a crap load of ANons will get owned hardcore by a surprise attack from big brother.
