Who says Florida has no culture? There's also a Beers of the World festival going on coz book burning is a thirsty job. No s'mores. Instead, they're serving up seafood, with beer. sigh

Extremist Christians have always burned things they disagreed with, and in this case they don't seem to see the irony in their choice.

But the fact that it says "Non-denominational" is interesting... I know the Church of Christ doesn't like to be called a denomination because they believe they're the only true Christians, and everyone else is just a "denomination of Christianity". Everything is a denomination, and to deny it just makes one arrogant of their own religion. But I suppose it could also do well to tell outsides just how backward you are.
