OSkipscreen's dead handy if your downloading a single file: it does exactly what it says on the tin, with the single exception that it doesn't work with mefiafire.

If you need to download multiple files, i'd strongly recommend jdownloader. You just copy the links and away you go. It covers ALL the major sites, and a huge amount of lesser knowns. It too cannot deal with mefiafire, though there is a piece of software that does [though will have to look it up as not sure off the top of my head.

Get the version from the Skipscreen website. Although you could just untick Mediafire from the Skipscreen options since there is no waiting anyway.

The snag with skipscreen is that, in the aftermath of the Mediafire legal threat to Mozilla, the filesharers have begun to take steps against Skipscreen. Whenever a new version of Skipscreen is submitted to Mozilla there is a delay before it finally shows up for update. During this time any changes Skipscreen has made to workaround the filesharers countermeasures can become obsolete before they get into use.

TL;DR:
Get Skipscreen directly from the Skipscreen website and update regularly to get around the countermeasures being implemented by the filesharers.

At London post raid drinks I mentioned a firefox addon that allows you to get around Megavideo viewing restrictions.

In the most recent version it also has features for Megaupload and Rapidshare. Given these two are often used by Anons I thought this might be useful.

Name of the addon is Illimitux, some people say it doesn't work for them but on all computers I've added it, its worked fine, for Megavideo at least (occasionally the servers get full or some shit but majority of the time I have no problems)

Maybe of use to people out there who don't have dynamic IPs.
