I got some info while wwp was down but I was hoping on getting a more direct protocol of events..

1) admins screwed up
2) some oldfags saw it
3) same oldfags exploited it
4) same oldfags got themselves root
5) same oldfags deleted 3 servers (because somebody had same password on all three)
6) admins realized the had been owned
7) oldfags crooned that Chanology was over and BAWed like babies over anons tarnishing their evil rep
8) olfags were told to GTFO
9) admins worked hard to restore the forums because they had "oopsed" on backups
10) admins restored the forums with all content (techmiracle - YAY!)
...FUTURE...
11)Admins restore front page

We'll be making a forum announcement once everything is settled. Right now the admin team is just finishing up some security checks to make sure everything is safe and such. (hence why I'm not a Moderator at the moment)

I'm told everything should be fully back online (including themes and front page) by tomorrow.
Question everything.

I think until frontpage is restored, it should at least contain a link to xenu.net or such site - the amount of flyers/signs/sites linking there, at the moment it is useless for public education.

From what i saw someone hacked into the main site and guess what admins hadn't changed their passwords or used an easy generic one, but what the hell who am i to preach, i'm stilll using my old password but then again, not much lost if the scilons steal my identity. LOL

in the chatbox that appeared on WWP's frontpage I talked on second day of WWP's hax with a person "WB" who claimed to be one of the oldfags who'd pwned the servers

I get a few mixed messages from the guy - although they do fit with adeathofcult's list

- WB's claimed to have been a mod or something on enturb.org and partyvan.net/org something
- he said that WWP not better than enturb and therefore pwned (read: he wanted anonymous back where he had power?)

he then also said...
- that he was a causefag and had/was at the protests
- that we (the protesting causefags) were tarnishing the name of anonymous
- that he had pwned WWP because of the above

so... if he's a protestfag himself, he... contributed to anonymous' name being tarnished? wut?

i'm more on the butthurt modfag wanting power again... or something - dunno

TL:DR
all i know is that the guy i chatted with had a mixed story, but didn't appear as a scilon - there was no gloating/hate-machine/cyber-teorist retorik
