I think the truly dangerous thing about these ads is not that they are going to encourage kids to hop on the computer and google scientology. In fact is if they do look up the website they will go straight to "thewaytohappiness.org"; the commercials don't mention scientology. I think it will simply leave a positive impression on their minds - a feeling that "this is something good". So strolling down the street and down by the friendly neighborhood scientology center, they see the logo for the way to happiness and think, yeah - hey I think I'll stop in. I want to be happy!
It's insidious and rather subtle. I thought they were adverts for a Christian church at first.
