Even though i fucking hate the music industry, and you will never again see me mention fucking Billboard, but I'm going to make a rare exception this time. Because this is a man who has earned every accolade. I consider Blackstar to be a personnel gift, to us, the people. Fuck the recording industry, fuck their bullshit, and fuck everything they stand for. It seems they are comming in thick these days. The singer Black (Colin Vearncomb) just died today after a a week in coma following a car accident. He was primarily known for "Wonderful life" from the 80's. My Old Man used to listen to it when he was in a contemplative mood.

Bowie leaves $100m fortune in will, wanted ashes scattered in Bali David Bowie's 20-page will has reportedly revealed the music icon wanted his ashes scattered in Bali and his $US100 million fortune shared among his family. Bowie, who died of cancer earlier this month, asked for his estate be left to his wife Iman Abdulmajid Jones, children, a nanny and a personal assistant, according to the will filed in Manhattan and seen by the New York Times. His widow will receive about half of his estate, along with his Manhattan penthouse, where fans left a wall of flowers after his death. Bowie's adult son Duncan and teenage daughter Alexandria will get about 25 per cent each. Alexandria was also left Bowie's mountain retreat in Ulster County, New York. Marion Skene, a nanny who cared for Duncan, will also receive $US1 million, while the rock star's long-time personal assistant Corinne Schwab, or Coco, has been left $US2 million and stocks. The will, which was prepared in 2004, was filed under Bowie's birth name, David Robert Jones, which was never legally changed by the singer who created the pop persona "Ziggy Stardust" in the early 1970s. The document directed that Bowie be cremated, preferably in Bali "in accordance with the Buddhist rituals". He further stated that regardless of where the cremation took place, his ashes should be scattered in Bali. Bowie was cremated in New Jersey on January 12. George was only 5 years old when the show took place. He will now be 18 / 19 years old. I wonder where George is now? It would be a really cool story to tell. That is, if one could actually find him.
