TripAdvisor is full of fake reviews and there's no way to complain without having an account and tbh I cba. There are 500+ reviews. We can't report them all. Go to the source and contact TripAdvisor about the page itself? They are committing fraud after all.

Okay, but Holiday Watchdog doesn't need a registration before you can vote reviews up or down. (There are 53 reviews to rate, and some of them are quite cutting!)

Interestingly, they must have better fraud filtering, because the Holiday Watchdog site only gives Camelot Castle Hotel Tintagel two stars; the ones that have been scammed give it four.

Scientology tends to induce incompetence in people, and I see that this hotel is no exception. It's probably not as dangerous to stay there as it would be at the Fort Harrison hotel... but the reviews show that a lot of unsuspecting people have found the experience seriously weird.

Um... I have a feeling that a link from this page to their website with the keywords in the link text increases their home page's 'page rank' for those keywords not ours.

To increase this pages' relevance in Google, we want inbound links to this page that use the keywords 'Camelot Castle Hotel' in the link text. The higher the PR / relevancy of the site those links are on, the better.

If I'm correct, then in your example link to camelot castle hotel (above) you've just given their home page the boost for those keywords, not this page

Everyone in this thread, I just wanted to say well done for the hard work.

I'm out of here for now because after a few weeks at it, I've realised that focusing on scientology on a daily basis is an negative energy I don't want in my life.

We put this hotel and the way it treats staff, guests and the neighbouring villagers on the Google map so that people will be better equipped to make up their own minds as to whether they want to go there or not.

One thing's for sure is that these critical views are out there now - and that's a good thing.

Just make sure we keep up our efforts on all fronts, and not just this new one

Since John Mapppin is clearly keeping tabs on our efforts, in the hope he's reading this, here's an idea for you to save your failing hotel.

1) Stop wasting money on Scientology courses because you know as well as I do your doubts are valid.
2) Renounce Scientology and ask for a refund.
3) Spend that money doing up your hotel.

You have a great opportunity there with the legends surrounding the Tintagel area, and great views over the sea - why waste it? You're a businessman, if you knew something was costing you money you'd either replace it or get rid of it. Why can't you see that with what Scientology's millstone is doing to you, your reputation and that of the Camelot Castle Hotel?
