Anonymous posting is back, There's only a slight UI glitch when creating threads: you get a notification bubble saying "you got an alert" but it should disappear. Otherwise It should be functional, I'm not a developer. I'll get back to this next year.
Curious which fix you used for the FF9 wysiwyg editor issue? Did their patch work for you or did you have to use my edit? I should really get a local copy of XF running....
I upgraded to the latest xenforo version, they had marked the bug as resolved. No idea what they did as i didn't look into it. I assume your fix would have worked, albeit a bit hackish. You totally should. If you want to toy around with the tinymce portion of xenforo, that ssl addon still needs fixing.
What's the best way for me to get the same version you gets have up and running locally? What version are you on? Also can you keep downloading the latest versions without paying if you don't have a site in production using it?
Individual subforums, rather than the whole forum. Used to be top right - opposite side to selecting the page number for threads, that kind of height. Can't see it anymore, though.
Sweet. Best way to get hold of that? Don't trust file sharing with sauce code. The demo gives you an install on their server rather than sauce.
Trolololol. That's for a license, I don't need a license as I won't have a version of it in production. Just a local copy to test shit on and post fixes to stuff when things go wrong on here, the admins don't have time and I am bothered enough to do something about it.
XenForo is a commercial product. I haven't seen any evidence that they offer a "free" version for evaluation, but I guess you could ask. http://xenforo.com/contact
Careful about using useragent sniffing to solve errors, since with mozilla you'd need to also test for the equivalent different strings in Firefox Mobile, Seamonkey, Songbird, Camino, Miro, Thunderbird, Sunbird, Spicebird, Webrunner, etc. (not to mention those that either change their useragent string manually or have extensions/malware that change it automatically)
