Scientologists are trying to prevent people from using public sidewalks tonight. DC Metro police have been informed and will be at the scene tomorrow to protect our first amendment protesting rights.

Also interesting note, the Scientologists failed to notify their neighbors of the closing, the closing isn't posted on the Dept. of Transportation website, notices were not posted 72 hours in advance, and the DC Metro police don't have their permit on record.

I checked the local traffic closures webpage yesterday and I didn't see a permit listed. I had meant to ask whether they fucked up or if I was just looking in the totally wrong place for the info

Any further info on what the scilons think they have closed and what they actually can close?
I wonder if they are going to go all 1.1 and erect giant blocking screens.

The guy in video with the Philly jacket is Bruce Thompson. He was DSA out of Philly and we have seen him in NY at things like the Katie Holmes protest whre they surrounded us tried to stop us from going to the theater.

Haven't been following the thread (I'm too far away to attend), but saw it bumped and decided to hop in and show my support. I loved visiting DC for the Over 9000 Anon March, and have very fond memories of flashraiding the org. Not many raids these days get the sense of anticipation that we had in february (and march, and april, and a number of individual instances since). This one captures it. It's been months since I've watched any post-raid vids (they all seem to be repeats, anymore), but I'm anxiously awaiting watching this one.

I can't believe Odo went all the way to DC for this. They are probably dragging in Sea Org from across the nation to pad the number of attendees.

Can't wait for the reports, guise. Sounds like it's going to be good.

Edit: Marc Headley said he saw a bunch of Sea Org from Gold in Anonsparrow's video. If anyone has a copy of Marc's book, you should bring it!

Regarding your IAS male handler's smile (loverboy):

Initially, I thought it was great that he could smile. So many other DCSci's are so dour. But the smile persisted and never changed and eventually I thought "It's pasted on." The smile lost its charm.

Then, a couple of minutes into 4.2 you began playing Tommy Davis ranting about violence at Gold and the smile disappeared never to be seen again. The smile's charm returned even though it didn't.

So telling.

Great job, as always, Sparrow.
