Gold Base, January 24, report I just talked to someone who had been at the Golden Era Studios protest today. He said there were about 20 protesters and 2 media camera crews. It was relatively peaceful, and the blaring sound system was not used. Sounds like it was a good day.
Re: Gold Base, January 24, report patience spylon, patience...=) It was beautiful today! Not too hot and no rain! There were about 25 anons from Socal, SD, and Vegas. Everyone was well behaved and there was caek and brownies afterwords. I was disappointed that the Gold note was not blaring...Also, WBM made an appearance as well as Gram. The best part of the day for me was when a lone scilon interrupted an interview the media was doing with Gram to give fail boy Tommy Davis's contact. The reporter asked if she wanted to say anything to anonymous, she rudely said "No" and ran back into Gold...Nice work scilon! Not only did you look like a total jack ass to everyone, but it was filmed! Anyways, overall it was a good day!

Re: Gold Base, January 24, report Add-on's to Whatwho's report: I think there were 30 of us, all told, including WBM, Graham, AGP & Smurf. SoCal, SD, Vegas & Seattle all showed up for epic raiding goodness! As soon as we pulled up, the entire compound turned into a ghost town. We saw a total of maybe 10 individual scilons behind the fence, scurrying into buildings, etc. The Fox affiliate from Palm Springs was there - AWESOME. The reporter & his camera guy stayed pretty much the whole time we were there, which was about 3.5 hours, all told. They got a lot of footage and a few interviews. I counted at least 6 or 7 anon video cameras, so there should be plenty of awesome footage forthcoming. Muriel Dufresne came out while the Fox reporter was interviewing Graham, right at the end of the driveway. She walked directly to the reporter and asked that his cameraman stop filming for a moment. She handed him a little card with Tommy Davis' name & phone number and said "this is who you should contact for our side" - or something to that effect. The reporter said "do you have anything to say to all these people out here, or anything you'd like to say on camera?". Whatwho got it right - she snapped back with a "no!!" and hurried back into the gates. Some burly security guard stood by the steps to the guard house while she was outside the gates, keeping a watchful eye, just in case we attacked, you know. We're wont to do that.... =P I hollered a quick "866-XSEAORG" at him. There was also at least one person, maybe two, peering out through a set of French doors at us for a good 5 minutes. Could it be true that 1-24-9 was the largest nonviolent protest outside the goofy gates of tyrannical munchkin land that the world has yet seen? Yes, a very beautiful day.

Re: Gold Base, January 24, report Gold Raid was fun. We had a tv crew with us, some clam came out and told the reporter to "check with his station manager." but they continued to film anyways. Cops came in and out of Golden Era but never got outta there car nor said anything to us. Las Vegas showed up *with cake and brownies!!! AND POKER CARDS!* LA showed up SD showed up Seattle showed up SF/888tards showed up *at the end lolz* It was a very uneventful raid, but there was a lot to see. Anyone who might have doubts Scientology is a cult, should really see this place in person. It's really creepy. Sadly also, no gold tone.

Re: Gold Base, January 24, report Note how they cower and try to act all quiet and angelic whenever the press shows up? I would suggest getting an undercover reporter to come to one of the regular raids, just so they can see the scilons true nature in full bloom.
